Welcome to Cantina la Veinte

Our decoration has been carefully selected from the most important craftsmen of Mexico. We enjoy its colors, within the geometry of Mexican Art Deco architecture; framing through its brilliant black and golden colors the splendor of its magic. With the leading role, we have our monumental bars along with one of the larges tequila and mezcal selection in town and our bar manager created delicious and sophisticate cocktails. Restaurant, Deli & Cafe, we take pride in serving authentic Mexican cuisine. relaxed setting in the heart of Brickell in Miami. Every cantina is a cultural expression of the place where it is found. Gastronomy-wise, we have an extensive menu of Mexican Cuisine dishes, offering representative dishes of each state of the country, with traditional techniques and recipes (handmade tortilla, sauces made in a molcajete ), along with avant-garde techniques such as vacuum cooking, spherification, foam, etc. We constantly update our menu and the chef’s recommendations with new and top quality ingredients.

A dining experience like no other.

- Chef Omar Montero - La Veinte Deli & Cafe

With catering as the family business, Chef Omar's childhood revolved around the family kitchen and just like that He was fascinated. He received professional culinary training in Mexico City at University Anahuac ( Campus of the renowned CIA and The Cordon Bleu), and worked in many prestigious restaurants, resorts and private catering companies in Mexico City, Monterrey & Cancun. After a bold decision of moving to the States he gain an ample experience in fine dining while working in Florida, Colorado, Minnesota, San Francisco & Napa Valley focusing on high-end boutique Hotels. He has been mentored by well-known Chef Louis Pous from Little Palm Island Resort, Asia de Cuba, and had the opportunity to be part of his team at the New York James Beard Awards. Settling in Miami, he joined the culinary team at The Setai.

Omar embarked on the opening of La Veinte Deli & Café, sister to Cantina La Veinte in July 2014; where he envision a brand new concept for a Deli. He has taken it to the next level by elevating the dishes he offers where on each taste you can feel the authenticity, the creativity and the passion for good food.
